The WEH&WC can complete lab draws for routine labs with orders from outside providers at no or minimal cost.
If you have labs that your PCP or specialty provider would like you to have done, you can save time and money by using the WEH&WC.
Here’s how this process works:
Request lab orders from your outside provider (PCP or specialty provider).
Make sure the WEH&WC has the lab orders at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. To get the lab orders to the WEH&WC, you can either.
Ask the outside provider to fax the lab orders directly to the WEH&WC at (262) 896-8521, or
Ask the outside provider for a paper copy of the lab orders and drop them off at the WEH&WC.
Note: Labs for an outside provider cannot be performed without an order, so obtaining the lab orders and getting them to the WEH&WC is important. You must provide WEH&WC with the lab orders at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to ensure that they have the correct supplies in house and that they are able to perform the preparation for the specific lab(s) requested.
Schedule an appointment at the WEH&WC to have your labs drawn, by calling (262) 896-8420. Let them know you have orders from an outside provider that have already been faxed or delivered by hand.
Go to the WEH&WC at your scheduled appointment time.
Once the lab results are received, the WEH&WC will fax the results directly to the ordering provider.
